The opportunity
We are looking for a passionate and talented Sales Consultant to join our lovely and dynamic team in Melbourne. You will need to have an appreciation of design, possess excellent sales and interpersonal skills with the ability to promote Fanuli, our values and our brands.
Your attributes and requirements
- A proven sales and customer service background
- Knowledgeable and passionate for the design industry
- Self-motivated and driven with a willingness to absorb a large range of products and demonstrate in-depth product knowledge
- Ability to demonstrate experience with high-end products in the design/retail world.
- Excellent communication and computer skills
- Liaising with overseas suppliers, local delivery companies and tradespeople.
- Administrative duties – orders, deliveries, invoices, and delivery schedules
- Build and foster relationships with both retail and trade clients
- Building upon our design consultation service
- Arranging meetings with design industry clients to build your sales network
- Client outreach through appointment setting
- Building long term relationships with new and existing customers, and drive repeat purchases.
Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- One day of weekend work required
- Resourcefulness with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills that encompass good persuasive and negotiating skills
- Articulate, well-presented, and professional
- Strong organisational skills and capabilities to multi-task.
